Joanna is the person with extensive experience in the field of human resource management, with 18 years of experience in strategic management positions, working as HR Director. She has significant achievements in the development and implementation of HR strategies in international companies. Joanna actively participated in the creation of three large organizations: Makro Cash & Carry – now Metro Group, Polkomtel – Plus mobile network operator and the Saint-Gobain Building Distribution and Construction Products. She created new solutions by implementing best practices in the field of managing people in organizations.
Joanna has in-depth knowledge of the area of HRM supported by many years of practical experience.
Working as a HR director in an international environment she gained extensive experience in strategic and operational human resource management, particularly in: planning and development of human capital, recruitment, training, talents development, evaluation programs, incentive systems, change management and internal communication. Joanna dealt with the construction of personnel strategies in the context of business needs and challenges and she implemented numbers of projects related to restructuring, mergers, building organizational culture, as well as management of processes of talents development, performance management and building commitment of people in large organizations. Joanna has a business experience in the sectors of services, retail, and manufacturing.
Joanna has higher technical education graduated from Warsaw University of Technology (MSc. In Engineering, Faculty of Fine Mechanics), supplemented by post-graduated studies and a number of courses on the management of people in organizations, including 2-years Executive MBA in L.Koźmiński University (WSPiZ L.Koźmińskiego) in Warsaw.
Joanna also conducted a wide social activities in an HR: Since 1994, she is a member of the Polish Human Resources Management Association (PSZK), and from 1999 to 2003 she served as Vice Chairman of the Board in this organization. She is also a founding member of the HRM Leaders’ Club, and she is currently a member of the Board of this organization.
Knowledge of the area of HRM and effective implementation of personnel strategies was confirmed by the prestigious title of “Director of Human Resources 1997”, as well as Polkomtel granted the title of “Leader in Human Resources Management.”
Special passion of Joanna is to assist the individual development of talented young managers. During her career as HR director she conducted a number of individual coaching and mentoring processes for people have been prepared for promotion or newly-promoted. In 2013 and 2014, she passed through the training process within the Mentoring Academy and obtained certification of the Mentor according David Clutterback’s method delivered by Mind Partners company.
This experience is supported also by authorizations to provide the feedback for FACET5 tools (58 feedbacks delivered), as well as facilitation of 360 degrees feedback by the method of Hay Group combined with the creation of individual development plans (completed 26 individual feedbacks).
